The Downtown Fort Myers Farmers' Market, year-round market, is open every Thursday. The summer hours are from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm and has been temporarily moved to Edwards Drive, along the Caloosahatchee River.
The Fort Myers Market is a "green market" where consumers may purchase fruits, flowers, vegetables, palms, plants, local seafood, and ethnic specialties. A "green market" sells commodities that are eaten or grown. Non-edible items such as soaps, lotions, or candles must be made from an agricultural product and vendors must be involved in some aspect of the process. Crafts are not available.
The Downtown Fort Myers Market, in existence for 14 years, provides vendors with convenient market facilities to sell their products or commodities.
